Fame and money often make things easier for celebrities when they go out on a no-strings-attached adventure. But only a few have dared to talk or boast, who knows how insincerely, about the number of people they have shared their bed within their lifetime.
Charlie Sheen, for example, is in that exclusive club of lovers. Gene Simmons, from “Kiss,” is one of the heartthrobs in the music industry who has had the most sexual partners in the world and is considered a “sex legend.” He says that 5,000 women spent the night with him. But no one beats Warren Beatty’s record, not even another famous Hollywood womanizer like Jack Nicholson.
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey was asked how many men she’s had relationships with, and her answer was more than a little bit eye-catching. The pop music icon, 50, opened up about sex in a cover story interview with Cosmopolitan, in which she claimed that her list of sexual partners was pretty short compared to others in the entertainment industry.
“I haven’t had that many, but they’ve been very varied,” she admitted to the publication. “I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m a bit of a prude, honestly, compared to most who are in this medium.”
The five-time Grammy-winning New Yorker married her first husband, Sony executive Tommy Mottola, in 1993 when she was a newcomer to the industry. More than a decade later, she tied the knot for the second time, this time to Nick Cannon with whom she shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 8.
The “Hero” singer also dated Mexican singer Luis Miguel from 1998 to 2001. She is currently in a relationship with dancer and choreographer Bryan Tanaka, 36, whom she began dating just months after abruptly ending her engagement to Australian billionaire
James Packer in October 2018.
Gene Simmons
The Kiss frontman had one task to complete before his then-girlfriend (now wife) Shannon Tweed would agree to marry him: The former Playboy model demanded that Simmons burn all the photos of the women he’d slept with — which took days because Simmons claims to have slept with nearly
5,000 of them.
“During my crazy years I didn’t do drugs, but I did have a lot of sex,” the rocker told The Sun in 2016. The music legend agreed to delete all of the Polaroids he had as souvenirs of those nights of excess to symbolize his commitment to monogamy. “Shannon and I gathered them up and burned them in a kind of ritual.”
Charlie Sheen
Fading Hollywood star Charlie Sheen doesn’t seem to have wasted any time either. The former star of popular sitcom Two and a Half Men claims to have slept with at least 5,000 women, the actor himself revealed in a statement to Maxim magazine.
Sheen added a few more tidbits about his intense sex life in the interview, including the fact that he enjoys threesomes and was supposedly so good in bed that his sexual partners call him “The Machine.”
Mick Jagger
In “Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger” (2012), writer Christopher Andersen claims that the frontman of the legendary band Rolling Stones has slept with around 4,000 women, most of them anonymous and others unofficial. And some of these relationships (with Marianne Faithfull, Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall or L’Wren Scott, who took her own life in 2014) have been public.
For the past five years, Jagger’s partner has been the dancer Melanie Hamrick with whom he has a son of almost three, Deveraux, who is three years younger than the musician’s first great-granddaughter. In total, Jagger is the father of eight children with five different women, although two of them – Karis, with Marsha Hunt, and Lucas, with Luciana Gimenez Morad – were only recognized after a paternity suit.
Lamar Odom
Lamar Odom is more famous for his personal life than for his athletic abilities. The two-time NBA champion released his memoir “From Darkness to Light” last year and in it, he confessed, among other addictions, his obsession with sex .
Odom claims in his book that he has slept with more than 2,000 women throughout his life and that he has been with an incalculable number of strippers and prostitutes.
In addition, he admits to having slept with six different women in one week. The former Lakers player also took advantage of the pages of the book to admit that he cheated on Kloe Kardashian during their marriage, as well as his pornography addiction.
Jack Nicholson
Actor Jack Nicholson has a well-deserved reputation as a ladies’ man and a heartthrob. He claims to have been with more than 2,000 women, including some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood: Angelica Huston, Candice Bergen, Joni Mitchell, Lara Flynn Boyle and Janice Dickinson. But the Oscar winner claims he has left that life behind.
“I think it’s very unattractive for me to be seen fawning over young girls,” he admitted in conversation with the British press. Asked if he could remember his party days in the 1960s, he replied: “Honey, I’m one of those people who can remember the ’40s.” Although he admits that all that is now behind him, he says he can still hold his own in bed. The actor has four children with three different women.
Warren Beatty
Actor, screenwriter and director Warren Beatty may not be as well known for his award-winning work in Bonny and Clyde and Bugs as for his love affairs. The iconic actor made his sex life a true marathon of conquests and encounters.
Among his best-known loves are names such as Jane Fonda, Natalie Wood, Vivien Leigh, Joan Collins, Julie Christie … and so on up to a total of almost 13,000 lovers, according to his latest biography published by Peter Biskind.
Diane Keaton was another of the celebrities who succumbed to his charms: “I could never understand how I was in bed with him. He was a seducer and very intelligent, which made him irresistible.” It is said that Madonna was the only woman who managed to subdue him in bed.
Without a doubt, she holds the first place on the list. But the eternal conqueror said enough when he met the actress Annette Bening, with whom he has been together for almost three decades.
John Mayer
Although he himself claims that in recent years he has become something of an “outcast” among celebrities, the truth is that the reputation as a womanizer that precedes John Mayer has a very real basis.
In one of his talk show programs that the singer has been doing every Sunday on Instagram, and which he has titled “Current Mood”, he dared to give details about the intimacies of his bedroom.
“Probably when I was in my twenties I did use my music to have sex, and that doesn’t mean that the feeling was any less sincere,” acknowledged the artist responsible for the unforgettable song ‘Your Body is a Wonderland’.
” I have never made love while my music was playing, but some girls have asked me to sing some of my songs. It wasn’t a specific song or even a specific girl,” he added to imply that this is a situation he has encountered on more than one occasion.
Given the direction the conversation was taking, his interlocutor took the opportunity to ask him about the sexual partners he had had, without asking him to give a specific figure but at least to reveal whether that number was closer to 800 or 500. “I would like to know if people are shocked that I have slept with less than 800 people.
I think my fans know me and can imagine it,” said Mayer, who placed himself in the “under 500 ” category and could not help but be surprised that this figure made him seem like a “better boy” in the eyes of many of the viewers who were watching the broadcast.
Despite the obvious power of attraction, he exerts on the opposite sex, Mayer insists that not everything that glitters is gold and compares his status as a famous Don Juan to being a beautiful woman, in the sense that he is presented with many opportunities but they are rarely accompanied by a true desire.
The fact that his countless and highly publicised romances with stars such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt have not seemed to help him become a desirable boyfriend in the Hollywood world.
“I don’t think women are too attracted to the idea of being able to say: ‘I slept with John Mayer'” he concluded about this change that has occurred in his public image.
Wilmer Valderrama
The actor was not shy about talking about how many times he had sex and sharing details of his sex life with former partners and did not shy away from discussing the performance in the bed of several of them.
About actress Mandy Moore he said: “Sex with Mandy was good, but not like a hot apple pie” (referring to the famous scene from the film American Pie ).
On Howard Stern’s radio show in March 2006, the actor – known for the comedy That ’70s Show (1998-2006) – also shamelessly recounted that he had slept with Jennifer Love Hewitt, with Ashlee Simpson, whom he called “a screamer”, and that Lindsay Lohan was “a big fan of waxing”.
